yeah the ram is not your problem if the system post with the stock cooler, I would RMA the liquid cooler as it's not
giving a response to the bios that a cooling system is installed so it won't post to protect the cpu as it thinks there
is no cooler. it's pretty cut & dry if the stock cooler lets the system post but the aftermarket cooler won't.
good luck. one other thing though,
I had a system back in the 1990's that needed a new psu and the stock unit had a 2 wire connector to the motherboard and the new psu
did not, so it would not post with the new psu, I cut the 2 wire cable off the old psu plugged it into the mother board removed some
insulation from the wires and twisted them together and the system ran perfect for years, the wires twisted together just completed
the circuit the bios was looking for. I found out later is was a signal circuit telling the bios that the psu had a cooling fan, this was a pre-built HP.
