ST30 360 in front and ST30 240 in the top btw smile.gif

that's throwing lots of thermals at 600mm of rad space. I'm actually thinking about adding a 120 in the back...I measured and it would squeeze in perfectly!

edit: no room for fittings unless it's in a pull configuration. But a Alphacool ST-30 120 would fit!!!

Was no problem at all in my caselabs s5, same hardware and same cooling.

One would have to say that the vents are not allowing enough air to pass through them then. What happens if you leave both covers off? Do they drop back down? If not, it's not a air-flow issue.

Ouch! I was originally worried about the small vents and was drawing up a plan to add a top and front screen...but when I received the case, it's so clean that I changed my mine.

Bottom line is this...if the temps are below 80c and the system is not going to get pushed any harder, it's good 2 go!
Outside of the e-penis award for having the lowest temps in town, it's not a big deal...IMHO.

I'll take silence over additional speed every day!

The front panel on the H440 does an excellent job at reducing the noise from the 3 front ventilators. I can confirm that.

That's good as I compared the stock fans to my e-loops and gt-14's. The stock 120mm fans pushed good air, but had some motor noise...NZXT is replacing those for me. The 140 was fine, for an OEM case fan.

I'm thinking about trying to push both out as the sound of the fans would be internal to the case, and use the rear as an additional inlet fan.

I gonna make a leap of faith and go for the H440. It is gonna be tight like i have at the moment in my FD Core3000, but a hell of a lot prettier.

This is how tight it is for me at the moment with two ST30 FC360

Just got my H440 today after waiting on pre-order

Got to say, best case I've owned to date, especially for £95!

Just some quick phone pics after setting it up

It's always so satisfying when it boots up without any problems first time haha biggrin.gif

- Fo the H440, you can run multiple 120 or 140 fans...you can verify by the pics within this thread.
- Windows are always going to be louder then a solid and noise-dampened panel...this is a user preference with regards to silence.

- I was referring to the front-panel and it seems to be open, judging by the picture you posted.

- Intakes as in the vent holes, if they are the same size on the H440 and H630.

- Yeah, its a shame you cant pick whether you want a windowed side panel.

thanks for bearing with me. =D

- The H630 doesn't have the cut-out in the bottom of the front panel, probably due to that it doesn't have any dust filter like the H440, the air is only filtered through the grills on the left of the front cover.

- The grills on the left looks smaller on the H630 than the H440, not having access to both nor seeing it mentioned anywhere I can't be sure though. Disregarding the panels, the H630 have more restriction for it's fan due to the fact that it also have mountings for 200mm fans, i.e. the H440 is more open.

Don't know if I'm making any sense here, too tired...

I knew the flow would be pretty bad, but im finding the temps pretty bad. As i like my pc to be silent, i need all my fans on pretty much full volt
to keep okay temps :/

All Fans are SP120 Q at acount 900rpm. + stock 140 in the back right now

Well im running 2 GTX 780 Hydro copper and a i7 4770k @ 4,5 at 1.18 volt on my loop.

After playing 2-3 hours my gpu's are max 43/44 and max temps on cpu is 58. mobo is 36.

All fans are @ 900 rpm.

push or pull...is the air coming in or exiting the vents? I'm at 4.0 @ 1.2 and currently I max out around 58 on the cpu and 36 on both gpu's. But our concern is the same.

Not sure which case you are referring to, but we seems to be running fairly similar setups apart from that I have only a single 780Ti and 60mm 360 front rad in my H630. I can confirm the temp diff with covers on or off are definitely noticeable.

No exact figures, but something like ten C drop on the GPU (from 58 down to high 40's). Just looped Heaven and GPU tops out on 59C and CPU is at 70C with covers ON. With both covers OFF, GPU=49C and CPU=60C, so yea a 10C drop on both. Not that it really is a concern at these levels, they are well within thermal limits, it's more the principle of it.
Full spec of rig is in sig, Frigg d.y.

Could save me some time

Buy me three more AP-15's and 'll test it out... biggrin.gif

Nice, noticed you mounted a 3.5" in the back just as me. How is yours attached and hows the temps on it. I put mine in one of the HDD rails and just tied it to pretty much the same place as you with some elastic string. It's a WD Black and is a bit toasty at 50C, wouldn't mind a low-mid 40's.
