Bah, the tubing you get with the Alphacool kits is clouding up again, and I'm pretty sure that it isn't growth of some sort since the reservoir is in perfect nick. Anyone else whom had trouble with Alphacools tubing? I'm using their Cape Kelvin Catcher together with a silvercoil.

So now i need to decide on what new tubing to get, anyone have tips on a brand of tubing (OD:13mm/ID:10mm)?
What Ive gotten tips on so far is XSPC, Masterkleer and Tygon (12,7/9.5mm) and I'm thinking of going with Masterkleer clear and not white just to go against the tide. wink.gif

Silver coil might cloud your tubing and silver with nickel (like barbs) can give trouble also... Best tubing right now is the primochill advanced LRT, no plasticizer and shouldn't cloud... http://www.ekwb.com/shop/accessories/tubing/tube-10mm-id/tube-primochill-primoflextm-advanced-lrttm-12-7-9-5mm-crystal-clear-retail-3m.html

I was anticipating on more H440 p0rn than this. The thread on my last case had people posting a handful of pics everyday. Hope to see more builds and discussions soon!

Im assuming a lot of the lack of pics has to do with everyone doing the exact same thing. Same fans and motherboards etc.
Theres not a lot of modding to be done with the case without going to full extremes.
And to top it off, the case has been in such high demand without the ability to supply it. With how much the case is, how clean it looks, and how everything is already to a point where no modding is really needed (besides the extremists) there isnt much room for originality. just short of brand choices for hardware.

Just my current outlook on the situation. Hopefully it will start getting some more pictures from the etxtremists, but ya never know. I for one have ideas but im not really 100% on them therefore i dont want to take any chances. The only mod i want right now is to make the PSU shroud carbon fiber wrapped. I also like the possible laser cutting of the two panels, but that isn't anything i can do do on my own.

Thread Starter
The high demand and low mods needed is partly why there there isn't as much action, but also because It was just released. The thread boomed pre release everyone is getting theirs in and working on them I presume. Me im working on my h630 and constantly building other rigs that I dont post here

I'll speak for myself. I'm a good month into my build, but the thought of posting pics here and on my build thread seems, well...redundant. I looked at this thread as an area to help those that are waiting or thinking of purchasing one of these cases. Did I miss something?

I personally love what you're doing right now. I just can't afford the second case, I would gladly do it for the black mono tray and the black PSU fan shroud though.

It was cheaper this way, plus I just sold my second case with 6 additional fans and made someone's day. The new user got a great deal on a case that is still out of stock everywhere, and I got the five pieces that I needed...I was lucky.

I really started to like the white inside with the black/red outside...looked sharp in person. This is what I sold (sorry for the bad pics):

I wonder if nzxt would sell just a single black shroud. Hmm. Is it at all possible to remove just the shroud from the whole case without the removal of any other parts?

I doubt it...no money in it for them. As for the removal, 7 rivets and 1 screw and the cover comes out, three on the bottom, 1 in the back and 3 more on the mb tray...no other parts need be removed. The screw is used to align the psu cover to the front cage.I spent about 8 hours sanding the powder coating off mine, so if that is all you are looking to paint, it's not that big a deal as it's easy to sand once removed.
