I want to maximise airflow in my H440 without modding the case extremely (cutting holes etc.).

How can I go about this?

Specs of rig in sig.

Thanks

take the front/top panels off while gaming tongue.gif other then that, you can change the fans.. but it wont make too much of an improvment. The H440 is a great case, but you need to WC for the best cooling.

Check the OP, i'm updating it a bit everyday as far as improving the h440 and options for people like you. For now for its just the fans suggestion posted and modding panels but take a look that first part would be a start!

Have you had issues of the rubber tearing on SP120s?

Hi guys/girls

New to the forum and my first post, it should make a few ppl happy

I just put my pc into its new case (nzxt h440) love the case but the plastic side windows got to go, I have a box of ferrero rocher sitting in front of me and the plastic looks of a high quality than this panel, it just looks cheap.

I did a bit of lurking on the net looking for a replacement in glass with no luck but as i live close to a very up to date glass plant, I grabbed my side panel and called in and had a chat with the boss, good news he can make me a glass insert that will be cut using a CNC water cutter, have the edges polished to a high standard the glass will protrude afew mm from the panel so as to look good when its lit it will also use an acoustic sound proofing in the laminate Cost will be around £50 at a guess I'll find out for sure on Monday afternoon and should have it fitted by friday, I'll get a few pics up when its fitted http://files.overclock.net/images/smilies/thumb.gif

Regards Pole

This is what I'm looking into as well. I was thinking using a drill with a circular bit, not sure if it would be a clean or rough cut though. While I'm here, anyone know on the H440 white/black model, what color are the power button / activity lights are ?

Their white!...if you need help modding let me know. Circular hole saw would work just need to file up edges potentially touch up paint

Hey Sarg, 2 questions sir

What could I do to minimize the chances of paint chipping and options to install a fan controller ? After the holes are cut, I was thinking of using a rubber strip thingy to cover the edges, I know I've seen that done somewhere maybe here hehe.
