Here's my H440, I painted the trim black (was orange) and I modded the front panel with some mesh for more airflow.

Where did you get the mesh from?

It came from a local metal recycling scrap yard. I had to dig through piles of scrap metal to find it, but they charge by weight so it only came to $4 to get about 3 square meters of it. It's steel.

Hi,

I'm about to purchase an H440 case and plan on replacing the stock fans of the case with Noctua fans. I can't decide if I should go with x2 140mm noctua fans or x3 120mm fans for the front intake of the case. I want to know which option would yield better airflow in this case.

Here are the fans...

"NF-A14 iPPC-3000 PWM" x2 140mm
http://www.amazon.com/Bearing-Cooling-NF-A14-iPPC-3000-PWM/dp/B00KFCRF1A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1443444811&sr=8-1&keywords=NF-A14+iPPC-3000+PWM%2C

- OR -

"NF-F12 iPPC-3000 PWM" x3 120mm
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KFCRATC/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=desktop-1&pf_rd_r=08GHR68NFDMTF8GYMKAB&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=2079475242&pf_rd_i=desktop

But if guys think the airflow and static pressure with x3 120mm noctua fans are marginally better I'll just go with the x2 140mm fans then since it would probably be a lot quieter.

Any help and input would be appreciated!

Hey,

just a quickie - currently, my system looks like this (pic below) and I want your thoughts on fan placement. Currently I have it like this - 3x120mm front intake, 2x140mm top exhaust through rad, 1x140mm rear exhaust. Will I notice improvements or will it be of no difference if I switch it up like this - 2x140mm front intake in push/pull on the Kraken X61, 3x120(or 3x140mm) top exhaust and 1x120mm rear exhaust through Hybrid radiator?

What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks
