Hello all, skimmed over all the pages of the thread, looking at pictures and stuff. Some very impressive builds around.

I'll jump right to my question. Do you think I'm crazy to consider changing my Phantom 630 (green) for an H630(black)???

I always liked the layout of the H630, with only 2 optical bays but it wasn't available locally 1 year ago when I got the Phantom. I honestly don't plan to do any custom loops, and noise is not really an issue with the Phantom either.

I would only move everything over and add one 140mm fan in front. I know air flow might be not be as good, but is a 5°C increase on GPU/CPU a realistic change??

This was my 8350/7970 build:

And my current Skylake/R9-390 build:

What do you think??

The plan is to have something similar to this:

Thanks in advance.

Was your 4790k OC'd when it was that hot in the 70s?

Well it was fun while it lasted, love the case and will be using it again for a tv setup but I am moving on to a 780t, I just need more rads to keep it all under control, I was hitting 65* and 7gb of VRAM in the division, with that OC I need more ;(

You can only go so far with AIO kits, your better off spending a bit for a custom loop vs paying for a new case?

Is anyone able to get me dimensions of just the side panel? Not home and can only find the overall case dimensions. Could get it tonight, just wondering if anyone is sitting by their case ATM. Thanks in advance.

It had a mild overclock on it, and I didn't have my fans set up very optimally plus I was using the stock NZXT fans that came with the Kraken which IMO aren't very good. Since putting in my custom loop and getting better fans my temps have dropped to high 50s low 60s running Prime 95 for 3ish hours.

Nothing fancy. I wonder if i should flip the rear exhaust fan
post #4130 of 4481
so now that the H440 v2 has been out a while, whats the verdict? is the cooling actually better than the original? does the extra size make it a bit easier to work in? is the fan controller the main upgrade?
