I'm currently trying to build my new rig in the H440 and im hitting a lot of headaches RE the drive installation, clearance and installation problems over and over again..

How in the heck do you mount a 2.5" on the bottom AND a 3.5" drive on the top and get the cables to clear

As much as i love the design im having an extremely hard time getting my rig put together...because i cant use the 2 2.5" bays atop the power supply shroud, I cannot mount the 2.5" drives on the bottom of the 3.5" brackets AND still use them for 3.5" drives. I'm down to 5 of the 6 drive bays because of my H110i's lines, and i need all of them for my 3.5" drives...

I've never had a build take me this long.. ive been at this since Wednesday and im about to have to give up and order a different case since i cannot seem to stuff everything in this thing... Times like this i kind of miss CompUSA to just get replacement cables and stuff...

I guess its all the right angle cables just not agreeing with this build at the moment.

im about to give up on this stupid case at this rate... i just cant get everything stuffed in this case no matter how much im trying with my wire management

i finally stuffed all the drives in, stuffed all the cables in, and i mean STUFFED, as best as i can with the way everything has to be routed.. and i cant get the side panel on. Theres not enough places to stuff excess wire from the ways i had to work around the drive bays, i had to forget using the grommets because stuff wont bend enough to connect..

its just not working for my setup at all.. This build has taken me far longer than any other and been more frustrating because of this case. or maybe its my power supply plus my case i am unsure

You are not trying hard enough

Yours is easier cause you're not using the drive bays in the front

A few hours later i finally, FINALLY got it all wired up and together, but it was the most difficult case ive had in that regard.. i had to give up using the grommets

i think next time maybe an individually sleeved set of cables for the power supply would be a good thing to have... the stock ones for the HX1000i have no flex in them really..

This case is huge! If you ever worked on a mini ITX case i think you'd toss it out the window, i've built tons of ITX cases and then i got this case, it's massive, i can cram a lot of stuff in here..

I'm just used to full towers. it might have been a combination of the parts i have plus the case simply enough... the cables didnt bend very well so i had a lot of issues just trying to get them into the proper connectors and etc, i had to give up completely on using the grommets because the angles just didnt work for any of my stuff...

i finally got the side panel on and i dont want to try to get it off to show off the eventual results..
