My HACKINTOSH build:
NZXT H440
Asus M6H
4770K with Corsair H105
Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB Windforce
4x4GB =16GB Corsair Vengeance
Samsung 512gb PRO SSD
Corsair 850 RM (oversized I know, should bought RM650/750) although fan never comes on
2tb Green WD
500gb Seagate

My Idle Temps with HWMonitor:
CPU Package around 30 - 35 C

My issue is with the GPU DIE Temps,it IDLS at 51C even with Top and Front off case.

Today I tried the following:
1) Moved the two HDD bays to the top of H440 bays, removed unused hdd cages thinking air flow would push across to GTX770, NO CHANGE IN TEMPS
2) Removed bottom 2 nzxt fans put in one SP120L (Fans that came with H105) in middle spot and hooked fan to case, forcing air over to gpu (main was it loud but you could feel the air moving) NO CHANGE IN IDLE TEMPS
3) Removed side, Top, Front even back NO CHANGE IN TEMPS

So now, I put everything back to stock config.

I was wondering if Nvidia or MAC released the driver with a big change?

Other thing I will porb try still is reversing the rear fan as a intake, I did this on my CM Storm Enforcer with H60(previous case) and saw a reduction on cpu temps. I assume it will not help with GPU Temps, my temps were cooler with the 200mm front and top fans in the CM Storm Enforcer.

I feel at this point the only way to cool down my GTX770 is trying to get my hands on the NZXT G10 GPU bracket to allow water cooling...

Welcome I just added you!

Yeah the g10 white, maybe red bracket would look good in there with it exhausting out the back, would drop nicely, also help keep case temps down

I appreciate the company as well. It's a real torture waiting for the confirmation on an order/shipment. And envisaging all the worst case scenario that could happen.

These last days I had lots of issues with mine. First I wanted to make some change in my order. So they cancelled it for me to make a new one. I tried several times to make the payment and it failed each time. Later I found out the cause was the limit per month on my credit card so had to contact the bank to bump that.

And then later, one of the items that was supposed to arrive in stock was eventually delayed. So I contacted Caseking and asked to ship the rest of the order first.
There is no way I could wait anymore for the case!

They told me "the order is going to be ready for the shipping now". So I guess that confirms that the case is in stock.

Still waiting for an email confirming the shipment tho. Hopefully tomorrow (fingers crossed)

Hope everything goes well for you guys. Keep me updated.

I have this rad in the front:

A nice, thanks for your reply.

Would you be willing to do some thermal test? I'm thinking running with the covers off an on to see how much the temps will go up. Looping something like Valley until temps have stabilized with both the front and top covers off and then putting them on letting temps stabilize again.

I wanna get an idea how much, if any, improvement there is on the H440 vs. the H630. It would be very appreciated if you can do this and report back. Thanks in advanced.

UPDATE - I moved my gtx770 back into my previous build:
CM Storm Enforcer
3770k
MSI z77ma-g45

I am getting the same exact idle temps 49C and gaming temps 55C, so the new build is a success!

It must be newer aggressive programming on the driver, we seen this before where nvidia or apple release a patch later.

This is much higher idle temps then my old picture I have showing the GPU and CPU both around 34C each will at idle...

Anyway I would recommend the H440 it is the nicest case I have ever used/purchased, and I have been building PCs since my original Intel Pentium 90 mhz... (I have built 25+ computers) With that being said I will still prob replace all the fans along with hooking them onto mobo fan headers to control the speed/loudness.

My advice, DO NOT cover the bottom hole, and if you can use it as intake.

Hey, much nicer results with the new setup! Thanks for posting about what works better with numbers and graphs even smile.gif

Yes! It was really an interesting improvement, specialy for the hotest days of summer with the fans at 7v, now is getting cold (Winter is coming rolleyes.gif ) so I left them at 5v and is very quiet, finally!
I'm very glad it helps!
