I have a gtx 780 sli, getting 30-45 fps on bf4 beta on ultra. - Page 3

That's weird, I just ran the beta with 2x GTX 780's and an i7 3930k and it ran on 140-160 fps on ultra settings. I even recorded a lot of footage (256gb) with fraps on 1920x1080 @ 60 framerate. Which did not take effect to any of the performance.

Yea I have one 570 and I am getting the same FPS as the SLI 780s. I also see alot of people saying that their CPU usage is high while their GPU usage is low. For me, my GPU usage is at 100% and my CPU usage is really low. I have a 3770k so its nothing over powering. But like everyone has said, its only a Beta, im sure it will be optimized. No worries.

And if you lower the fullscreen resolution( I think thats what its called) to even 95%, you will see and improvment in FPS.

I had same problem. Download the beta video drivers. All gone...

Pretty impressed with beta performance TBH.

yeah i dont think its the drivers because i have a 780 and its running it just fine. I think he put the resolution scale on 200% which pretty much destroys anything that you can throw at it. with resolution at 200%, i get like 25 fps lol. Everything else ultra including AA

HT has nothing to do with it. I have run it with it on and off and it is the same either way. It is just plain bad code for Nvidia. Other friends with AMD are not having any issues they tell me. I am running the beta drivers as well. Just the way the beta is and it is pretty much crap for a lot of people.

Also I just tried reinstalling the beta drivers doing a totally clean removal of the old and then not running SLI and it is just as bad with lag and stutter. My rig runs BF3 very smooth so it is not my PC.

Upgrading to Windows 8 fixed my issues. No stutter and much better frames.

It's worth giving a Windows 8 trial a try then, in my opinion.
