My Vcore was at 1.47 for about 5 hours trying to get it past 315 that wasnt even still stable. regardless even if i cant go higher Im at very stable 3.0ghz at 429x7 with 1.462 Vcore i think it is. Its the first one in the 6's

The max temp i've seen it hit was 54 degree on max load while its usually 49-52
which is perfectly acceptable.

As for ram the lower the better and post me your ram on newegg and i'll tell you what i'd recomend you tighten them too

Im currently 1.39v at 2.67ghz.I can't go any higher no matter if I raise it to 1.462v. Maybe your ram is better than mine So I lowered the vcore back to 1.39v because it seems to run it stable so far I'm going to go try R6Vegas brb hopefully you will have replied by then thanx for all the help!!!

My ram shoudlnt be better than yours. If it doesnt run at 1.462v stable then its probably something else. your MCH is at the 3rd notch up right? and your FSB termination is at 1.3?

Well if you want to put it stable at 2.8ghz with ram then i suggest ram at 2.2v at 4-4-4-12 timings.

my termination is at 1.4 and 3rd notch on nch timings are set a 4-4-4-12 and 2.2v but still cant get past 2.67 even at 1.46 or any other v setting

Oh and do you think 2.67 at 1.39v is perfectly safe and wont harm my system anymore than it being stock?
