A vote for 7950 from me. i have two of the voltage locked XFX black editions, run at 1200mhz / 1500mhz with no issues...

Although pending your case, they may run pretty hot at those clocks.
I have the HAF X, with the side fan and inner case fan both directly on the GPUs... so under load I'm about 70degrees top card, 60 bottom card

GTX 770 for me, for different reasons.

SteamOS will be what everyone starts to game on who knows it might be really cool and have dedicated games and depending on how long you want to wait Nvidia has better closed drivers for linux and also is teaming with Valve to make steam box's

Mantle? I wouldn't base any decision on that. No way that succeeds. Anyways, Of the choices I'd get a 7970. But if you can wait about two weeks the NDA will be lifted for the new AMD cards. May lead to price drops across the board.

Yes! Amazon are accepting the 760 back, I really do love amazon for there customer service, it's why I always choose them over newegg/etc.

I will just leave the money I guess and ask them to order me the r280x/290, w/e the $399 model is.
