Sorry I see you tested the second slot and it works. Did you re-enable sli in the nvidia control panel.

Doesn't sound stupid at all, I know it has pci switches on the board. But I am trying to figure out how I would nudge one of them LOL. I will check this when I get home.

Ya since I watercool and like benching one of my cards by itself because it is much faster those switches are amazing. I just disable a lane and remove the power and I onloy have one card without having to drain my loop. The problem was when I went to re-enable sli I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. it took me about 15min to realize I forgot to flip the switch back. I hope nothing is broken and you get your issue resolved, It's very fustrating.

When you installed Windows did you have both cards installed too? I've had similar issues and ended up reinstalling Windows using just one single card because I had a hunch (no idea why). Then once everything was up to date, I installed the second card and the SLI bridge etc... and flicked the setting on in nvidia control panel and hey presto.

I wish I knew why Windows is finicky about which method you use to install multiple cards, not that normally it should make a difference. But due to your recent hardware change, BIOS's can act very oddly.
