Trading a GTX 670 for a Titan? Good deal or walk away?

I have an individual who's willing to trade me a Titan for my MSI GTX 670 SC Twin Frozr + $700. I'm assuming resale on my card (being less than a year old) is probably around $250-$260, which would put the total trade value at $960 (which is $70ish less than retail). Would you do it? I game on a single monitor (1440p) setup with no plan to SLI due to the Mini ITX format.

This worries me though (about the price drops)

Prices of the Titan gpu's are expected to fall to the 800$ mark.

God no. 780s are close in performance for what you are using it for, and 960 bucks is close to retail. I would get a 780 if I were you. Wait to see what the price cuts do and get a 780. If you absolutely require a titan, get one after the price cuts happen and make sure to get a better discount on a used unit than what hes offering. I've seen Titans going for 800 on the marketplace, maybe lower.

TERRIBLE deal
people are selling 670's on ebay now for like $350 bucks still!

Trust me, I've been looking to buy a second hand one. WAY to expensive still. If you want better performance, buy a second 670. at 1080p SLI 670s > Titan
