Here's the rundown with them.

Don't expect to overclock... At all. With my 1055t, I blew out the VRMs on the MSI, and they ASUS has nasty VRM whine when running past 3.5Ghz.
With that aside, both board are rock solid, offering 4 RAM slots, and in the case of the MSI, Crossfire support.

So, if you're content with the single video card set-up, get the Asus. If you want Crossfire support, get the MSI. Get the fastest stock processor you can get, that's still within the 125W TDP. Also plan on getting active cooling on your VRMs, just to prolong life.
Also, get 2x4 GB of ram, you'll want the dual channel.

I do not plan on CrossfireX so I will go with he asus. Thanks!

Its a very cheap and basic PSU its not made for high stress

Its a cheap CWT made PSU full of cheap parts

Its fine for office or media PC´s and other kind of low stessed PC´s

It does not belong in a gaming system

In fact i call it borderline crap

Only buy if A you are broke any cant afford better ot B cant find any better

Even though I shouldn't be drawing nearly the amount of power it is rated for? at max power I predict these will draw about 300 watts and the eighty plus bronze should always give over 400. I am not closed minded thought, just not really understanding what is wrong. is corsair not telling the trueth about the specs?

Corsair has not made it

Its made by Channel Well Technology also known as CWT

its full of CapXon capacitors which are pretty much the cheapest and worst capacitors you can find

Turth is its a PSU using many substandard parts

Cosair even say themselfs its made for basic PC´s

So dont know why many think its great its cheap for a reason because its not very good

I'm not trying to insult you or anything, you clearly know what you are doing but what is the worsted thing that could happen, and also which supply should I get?

Most likely thing to happen is one of the CapXon´s fail which is not that uncommon

Most extreme case the whole PSU blow up or catch fire

Something like the XFX Core Edition which is a Seasonic S12II is not that much more money and its much better made

Voltage Regulation on the Cosair CX is also not that great so even if it had good capacitors it would not be the most stable PSU in the world

If we where to compare the Corsair CX to the brand new Cooler Master VS series the CX is a pathetic joke compared

Just looked it up, one problem. The lowest variation(500W) is over 2x the price of the CX 500. Is there a Happy medium maybe 10 bucks more and 400+ watts?

Cheapest i know is the XFX Core Edition and the OCZ ZS

Really you dont want to cheap out on the PSU thats the worst you can do

I know this is going to sound disappointing but either wait and save some more money or take some from the video card

Think the PSU as the heart of your PC a bad heart and everything could go up in flames

Seen way too many PC´s killed becasue of cheap crap over the years

And i dont want to see another one if i can do something about it

I have an un-used TX-650 I picked up a couple months ago. I was planning on selling, would that work better?
