I really hope an i5 will keep up. I would hate to think the rig I built last year is "getting old"

they should put some kind of settings to reduce tesselation and bring the graphics to some barebones skillet almost, now thats what i call super duper low settings thumb.gif

Heavy specs? So basically for Ultra Settings on a 2014 game (supposedly to be one of the best looking games out there) you only need a GTX670 which not only was launched in 2012 but also it's not even close to be the best of the series, which would be the 690. Yes, it demands an 8 core x64 CPU (one of the latest Intel CPUS) but let's face it: In games, the GPU is way more important than the CPU. I'm not saying the CPU isn't important enough, tho. But for gaming, having a nice GPU is like more "important" than having a good CPU.

I will be a good judge for that. I have a 3570k pushing three 290x in trifire. If I am not getting killer frames.. It is the cpu.

Let's not kid ourselves. Knowing UBISOFT, this game will be a PS3/Xbox360 -> PC port. Go get the PS4 version if you want to experience it in its true nature (same for any other UBI games).

because of the heavy cpu requirements and low gpu requirements this looks like a cpu benching game.
