Okay guys i fixed my last problem and found out that the Ram got knocked out of place and need to put it back, but now and ever since i got my laptop its been unresponsive at times and I have to turn it off from the Power button most of the time. I have done some looking around the computer while its on and the HDD seems to have issues and makes a loud beeping noise when it is under to much stress. I thought it was a Win 8 thing but i put Win7 on it and it hasn't seem to change anything. my laptop is a MSI GE 60. any help?

I guess I'll have to ask a few things first.

Have you left your laptop under any heat like in a car?

When the RAM was knocked out, was it from a fall?

What is the temp of your CPU? is the heat sink fan running?

Have you tested the RAM or HDD yet?

You don't need to buy new parts yet. just make a google search for Memtest and burn it to a disc. and put the disc in your laptop and make sure to boot from the disc. and run the test. if that works out you know your ram is ok. if it has errors or it crashes you can still guess that there is something wrong with your ram.

if your ram is ok: you should make an Ubuntu disc. and boot from it. don't install to the HDD run it off the disc only, that way if you can keep this running without crashing then you would now know that your HDD is bad.

and you will avoid buying and returning parts like so.
