How much wattage will I need for my gaming rig?

Thread Starter
So, I'm building a new gaming PC. I need opinions on what PSU to get.
Originally I was seeking an Antec High Current 900W PSU

Here's the hardware:

Case: Antec 1200 V3 Black Steel Full ATX Tower

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H

CPU: Intel i5 4670K 3.4 GHz Haswell LGA 1150

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X 16GB (4x4GB) 2400Mhz

GPU: EVGA GTX 780 3GB SuperClocked w/ ACX Cooling

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD

Optical Drive: ASUS 24X CD/DVD Burner/Writer

CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H100i Water Cooler

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit)

So what PSU would be recommended for me? I will be doing some OC'ing, indeed.

And also --- What the difference between Windows 7 Home Premium "Full Package (64/32bit)" and the Windows 7 Home Premium "SP1 (OEM) 64bit"?

600-650W is all you need, even if both are overclocked to great heights
1) Wait for V650S
2) Seasonic G-650
3) Rosewill Capstone 650-M
Also you might want to treat yourself to a Plextor M5S 128GB, the difference vs a HDD is stark for use as a Boot drive and apps.

If it helps you, check out my rig. 850w and i run 2x's 780 Superclocked. I'd probably go a bit higher than 650w if you plan to SLI or something. thumb.gif

EDIT: I should add that 650w will run what you have, as DaveLT said.
