i7 4770k vs i7 4930k

Which would be best for battlefield 4 multiplayer. Also will be adding a second gtx 680 in SLI. looking for best performance, high fps, maxed out ultra settings. Have a amd fx 6300 currently

Probably 4930k. Decently clocked 4770k wouldn't be far behind though

If BF3 is anything to go by, shutting off the HT on a hex core nets you 25-50% more minimum and average fps than a quad core at the same clock speed with 680 SLI, which is a decent gap. The frostbite 2 engine responds extremely well to more cores, I would expect frostbite 3 to be much the same.

Seems so. They'd both be quite a jump from fx6300 afaik
