Yesterday, we reported that NVIDIA is preparing two new graphics card for release later this month and it seems like performance numbers and specifications of one of the the cards have leaked. A forum member of PCEVA posted a GPU-Z screenshot of the upcoming graphics card. According to the software, its name is “NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 SE/750 Ti”. It means that either NVIDIA hasn’t decided the final name yet or this is just a placeholder name for early samples. However, my bet is on the GTX 750 Ti name. Whatever may be the final name, this new card is absolutely real and that’s what matters for now.

I think the final name will be 760 SE. It makes more sense, what do you say?

That is only the indication that new cards are coming. This new article including GPU-Z and performance numbers.

If the 256-bit bus and GK104 are true, that would be good (for gamers + AutoCAD users or CUDA use, not folders/BOINCers/"Mantle"/OpenCL use), although a price reduced GTX 760 would also be interesting.

GTX 650, GTX 650 Ti, GTX 660 and GTX 760 price reduction

The same source claims that NVIDIA will now reduce the price on their GTX 650-760 lineup. The GTX 750 Ti will fit somewhere in between.

...
According to this data, the GTX 750 TI is around 10% faster than GTX 660 and 8% slower than GTX 660 Ti.

10% faster than GTX 660 puts it in HD7870XT territory ; GTX 660 already is faster than HD7870GE when GTX 660 are clocked to 1200MHz and the HD7870GE is 1150Mhz.

The product stack for people that spend normal amounts on a GPU($150-300) will look a bit like
HD7970GE ~$280-350
R9-280X? ~$299
HD7950 ~$200-240
GTX 760 ~<$250???
R9-270X? / HD7870XT ~$200
GTX 760SE/GTX 750 Ti ???

Yawn indeed. I was hoping for a 760TI with 3gb to do an SLI, but it seems it will be a 770Ti based on GK110 so i don't expect it to be cheap. Se meh. I'll wait till 20nm cards
