I have been getting what seems to be some kind of v sync microstuttering/frame skipping on some games. BFBC2, all Cods.. but not all.

here is a video of it happening

If i put my refresh rate at 120hz the ms/frame skipping goes away almost completely and the lower you go below 120hz, the worse it gets.

i prefer to play at 60hz because i use HDMI but the frame skipping makes it unplayable.

I had the same exact problem with BF3 but somehow using a frame limiter to 59.95 fixed that for me but it wont fix the others. I never had this problem about 2 years ago on the same cards. i've had to put up with it for that long as i only discovered 120hz makes it better.

can anyone help me out? thanks.
