Hyper 212 Plus Fan Flip

Hey everyone, got a question for all you CPU fan masters:

I have a Hyper 212 Plus in a NZXT Phantom Black case.

Previously: Had the fan on the Hyper 212 Plus closer to the front of the case. Since the fan at the back of the Phantom case pushed air from the inside out, it worked great: the Hyper 212 Plus would send air from the CPU straight out the back case fan.

Currently: I bought a couple more sticks of RAM, and now the fan on the Hyper 212 Plus won't fit on that side, so I switched it to being on the back side of the heat sync (closer to the back of the case). However, now the Hyper 212 Plus is pushing air toward the front of the case while the back case fan is trying to pull air in that area and push it out the back - i.e. not as conducive.

I want to keep the fan where it is on the back side of the heat sync (have to, because of the RAM), but I want to flip the fan so that it pushes air out the back instead of toward the front. To do that I would need to pop the fan part off of the bracket part, but I didn't see a way to easily do that. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I think if you lift the rubber pads at each corner you'll get access to the screws that attach the two brackets to the fan housing. One silvery screw is barely visible in this pic:
