GEFORCE GTX logo colour change on Titan - Page 16

Eheh I want to go blue too. I've got a spraycan of the darkest one I could find which was navy, but I haven't done it yet because theres complications. It looks like it was screen printed, the black actually comes up higher than the green and forms a lip , so if you sand your taking that off and it wont look exactly the same. The only things I can think of are using a scalpel / xacto blade to carefull cut the green out. Or take it all off and take it to a printing place, but I haven't had anyluck finding a place that would do something like that on a 1 off basis and if I did it would probably cost a pretty penny. I was also thinking of using paint remover instead of or in combination with a blade. I'm worried using either and the black may become loose or separated from the substrate so youl have these wavy portions of black around the spots u took the green out. Was also thinking about some alternatives to spray paint, a dark dye or even that stuff u make decrotive glass with as it seems to give off the right hues. Either way im not doing anything until I get my hands on a spare shroud and or logo to play with, too many complications.

You're right - sanding it off will not result in the exact same styling as before, however an observer would be hard pressed to notice the difference unless you pointed it out.

I think you may be overthinking this a little smile.gif

Have anyone tried acetone... nail polish remover? I should get the paint off the plastic easily.

1. It's a really rubbery soft plastic, not sure if that would effect the result of acetone.
2. The black is also painted on so acetone seems far riskier than careful sanding.

I wonder if I could "gently" do this to one of one or two of my Titans while they are in the case lol.... I really don't feel like taking them out and apart AGAIN... I probably have the record for assembling/reassembling a Titan on OCN haha. I may try to do it to the middle Titan.... would match the two Green one White Avexir RAM modulres in each bank for the SR-2 setup cheers.gif

Do you guys know if this voids the warranty? Because I wanna try it but h
that's the only thing stopping
Also would I be able to paint red on the rubber to get a red glow or would it be a little dull?

Yes: It voids the warranty, so be careful. That said, its easy enough to get a second hand shroud off of someone the blocked the card they have.

As to the red, you can paint it: just make sure that you sand off the existing green first. Paint it slow, but carefully. Once the light starts shining, you'll see every spot where you missed or had a light coat. smile.gif

Where would you get the cooler though? Off ebay or a forum or something?
