Is it worth upgrading my CPU/MOBO to Haswell? Just wondering?

My current rig is doing well. I was just wondering if the upgrade would be worth it. What do you guy's think? It's crossed my mind a few times already. Thanks!

I think sticking with the 3770k is best. For the money of upgrading to a 4770k and a mobo you could easily add a second GPU, and quite a few extra goodies that will make give you a bigger jump in performance. You won't see much of an improvement jumping to Haswell, and from what I've seen Ivy is still a bit easier to overclock higher than Haswell.

Only reason I upgraded to a 4770k from a 3570k was to set up a second rig with all the spare parts I had lying around.

You running SB or IB? then no, save your money unless you have an i5 then get an i7 for your socket (new to board not sure if your build is listed somewhere)

but yea, if on SB or IB absolutely not worth the extra cost IMO, spend the extra money on better cooling and OC it to the max you can and run the rig into the ground THEN upgrade tongue.gif
