CyberPowerPC has a BF Edition PCs with either the 290 or 290X with an estimated ship date of October 24.

Kind of implies the cards aren't coming until the 24th or 25th then, since you'd expect the offer to be open as soon as the cards drop.

Regardless, pulling the trigger on a 7990 is of course your prerogative (I REALLY wanted to use that word hahaha... +1 to anyone who figures out which movie/character it's from)

I know there soo many options from last time I upgraded to a GTX 580.

Strongly suggest against the 7990, single gpu is always better for radeon imo and a 290x will give you more than enough power to feed 1440@120hz unless you absolutely need more than 4xMSAA

At 1440p, a Titan (using this as a 290x equivalent) only gets 39fps at max settings. I wouldn't call that "more than enough". For comparison, the 7990 gets 54 fps, much more than a 290x will get.

And not trying to be offtopic, but Im not sure why you included :1440p@120hz. If you are wanting to make use of a 120hz monitor, you're wasting your time using a single gpu. Anytime you're near or below 60fps, the 120hz is irrelevant compared to a 60hz monitor

Has this retailer confirmed that it will come with the bundle? If they do I am sold.

the Sapphire R9 290X does not come with bf4. If you want the BF4 bundle, you will need to look for a "Gigabyte R9 290X" (these are hovering around the $700 mark)

Seriously though, xfire 290s for "just" 1080p is a little bit of an overkill lol

If the Sapphire price is to be believed, I wonder if the 290x will debut with a low $550 suggested MSRP but of course with the initial markup cost $570-600, similar to when the 7970 debut and was in hot demand? I still don't understand the point of the special BF4 edition since it is doubtful it will release before BF4 release date at the end of October and it might cost $100-150 more than the regular edition. Even if it did release ~4 days early (cards can be bought on Oct 24, arrive the 25th?), I doubt the multiplayer servers will be live until the official release date, again making it an useless special edition.
