Thanks for that vanalka.
I've tried all the slots on the TV, 3 different cables and checked all drivers are up to date. No more TV updates either. Htz set to 60. I tried changing this too just to see if it changed anything. All have the same outcome. You don't suppose it's the TV is it? I've not had it a week yet so if it was I could try to get curry's to replace it.
I'm not sure it is the TV. Looks more like a setting to me but I'm running out of options.
I can't reboot after changing as when the screen goes like this the mouse is pretty much dead. Can't click on the keep these settings tab.

Is there any other device you could try connecting that would allow you to validate whether or not it is a fault in the TV? I have used my MS Surface Pro to connect. I good laptop would be able to output 4k.

Hi
I've been playing around with it and can now get it to work but only at 30htz. Soon as I up out to 60 it goes again. Ate there any specific settings the TV should have? Colour settings or something?
I'm taking the pc to curry's tonight to try it on anther TV just to make sure.

Have you turned UHD color on in the TV settings?

No. Didn't notice a setting for this.
Im thinking it's the colour settings on the pc that's the problem. Someone sergested changing the digital colour format to rgb and dynamic range to limited (16-235).

Finely working! Changing to rgb and limited dynamic range fix the problem.

I just bought the 55X850B last week and when I was trying to set my PC at 4K resolution it kept going back to 1080p. I have a MSI GTX970 Gaming OC for my card with the latest drivers.

Did you change the RGB and Limited Dynamic Range on the PC or the TV?

EDIT: I think I got it figured out. My issue is that my PC was going into a Denon non-4K receiver so I plugged the HDMI right to the TV and it is worked. Looks like I might be needing that 4K receiver sooner than I think.

Yeah all looks good. I changed the settings on the pc via the nvidia control panel.
My thoughts now are what's better for gaming. Runing at 4k is great but I have to lower the graphics settings to achieve this. Maybe running at 1080p with settings on ultra and letting the TV upscale the resolution will produce beget results. It's hard to tell.
