New to the game and I want to run my new build by you gurus! Mainly concerned with Rad and Fans

I am going to be running an i5-4670K and would like to try to OC it to around 4.5 if possible. I plan on using a XSPC Raystorm as CPU Block, XSPC AX240 Rad and 2 Yate Loon D12SH Blue LED fans in a Push config.

The case I am really leaning towards is the Corsair Graphite 600T (wanted the Enthoo Primo, but budget is kind of tight now) and from all I have read trying to get a push/pull setup in there at the top is not possible without modding.

So my question is, will the Yate Loons on top pushing air through the rad from the outside and into the case, work and would it be sufficient cooling for the OC I want to attempt?

My res and pump is the Monsoon Series 2 Dual Bay D5 with a Swiftech MCP655-PWM pump.

Thanks for any input, it is GREATLY appreciated!!!

Thanks,
Chris

Sure it would. Nothing wrong with that, I had a 650d with everything on rads pulling air from the outside into the case (200.1, 280.2, 120.1) with four fans on the side panel exhausting.

Just be sure to have your rear fan exhausting and you should be grand.

Click the Synthetic Anatomy linky in my sig (build log). I'm using an FT02 by Silverstone Tek. biggrin.gif

My girlfriends puter is a 500R and it's liquid cooled also (Nat-inator linky), great case there and a little cheaper on the money side of things.

If you haven't picked a case yet, check out the new 750D. It is the same price as the 600T and cheaper than 650D. It will fit plenty more radiator space from the get go. I recently picked one up for a transfer from my 650D. The 650D is pretty limited in regards to efficient water cooling (140/200 vs all 120, I guess it's more personal preference), plus I absolutely hated the hot swap bay.
