95% of all my games work on my 100hz oc'd 1440p qnix monitor, except for Dead Space 1, Madden 08, and a few others.

you can hear the sound when you launch the game, but hte monitor cycles through all its colors. tried editing ini files so it matche smy hz/rez at launch and still same thing.

most of my games work fine, just curious, can someone try out the original dead space for me on a OC monitor see if the monitor plays sound but not picture?

I just ran the game at 120hz OC and it worked fine for me. I am using GTX770s SLI on a Qnix. Try completely uninstalling the game and re-install, then load the game at a standard refresh. Next try your overclock again. If it works in all other games it has to be dead space. Also i never modified any inf or config files to run my OC. If you are on an Nvidia GPU you might want to check your global 3D settings and check the dead space 3D settings.

I guess it's possible my monitor just does not OC stable, because even when it works fine on other games for weeks on end at 96hz, i will randomly get blurred lines and screen greyed out and have to reboot the comp.

Hmm, dunno, guess just have to enjoy 60hz.

I know it works for Nvidia users Dead Space 1 on a OC'd korean pls monitor, but can someone test AMD for me and see if its just me or AMD? If its just AMD i will make the switch to Nvidia.
