Your thoughts on BF4 Beta? - Page 7

How true is that really? Say you're on a fast SSD w/ SATA 3 and no issues w/ BF4. Is Win 8 REALLY that noticeably different speed wise?

In BF4? Well, I'm pretty much @ 100%, so I don't think it could be any higher...everything's smooth as BF3 as well. Frames are high. Just not having any major performance issues that would lead me to believe W8 is worth my time.

I have a smoother cpu usage with windows 8. Even with grenades i never have frame drops under 60 fps.

I personally love all the new features in bf4, and plan to buy it day one. That doesnt make me "deluded", that just means I have a different opinion you troll thumb.gif

Well, he is right about the UI. It's atrocious.

The article means nothing to me until we find out if he changed process priority to low. I had EXTREME stuttering, down to 5 FPS, just horrible performance and that ONE setting completely smoothed everything out for me. It's totally smooth now w/ very high FPS. I'm not saying it's going to work for everyone, but I wouldn't be jumping the gun and moving to that hideous looking OS so soon.
