Perhaps your SSD is connected to a SATA 3Gb/s port by chance?

Might be the Marvell controller since you're on x58. I have this same issue

Yes it is , i have never used the marvel sata 6gb ports. Will it make a difference in real world ? Also is my alignment correct?

Oh, then it makes sense. Your SSD needs a much higher bandwidth than what SATA 3Gb/s ports can provide, so your SSD is essentially bottlenecked here. Connect it to a 6Gb/s SATA port, and see if there's any improvement.
