pc hard locking

Thread Starter
I ran a mem test the other night because my computer frequently but randomly hard locks in games and on the desktop. My first men test froze at 1% first pass and my second test went 5 hours straight and passed 6 times no errors. I'm not able to figure out the issue. I'm not able to conclude the exact issue. I also suspect it to be my a data 60gb ssd. However it does pass health checks. I had the issue on both my old and new video card so I ruled that out.

Suggestions on what to test next?
Thanks

If memtest freezes whilest running from a USB stick its usually not an HDD/SSD, as it is only testing ram. You could try to disconnect the SSD and try memtest again.

10 passes = success. maximum settings. hmmm?

I was also having a bit of trouble with my Logitech G400 randomly disconnecting and reconnecting on its own. Maybe possibly linked or contributing to the issue?

My computer is also randomly shutting off after about 5 minutes of leaving it on the desktop.
