How do I setup my loop fans and pump to adjust automatically based on CPU temp?

Thread Starter
My current order list is 2 Yate Loon D12SH's 120 mm with an XSPC AX240 and my pump is a MCP655-PWM with the Monsoon Series 2 D5 Dual bay reservoir.

I am only cooling the CPU with this and may add GPU later.

I am not sure what I need to do to kinda make this an autonomous setup that will slowdown or speed up based on CPU temp.

What do I need to add, subtract, change to this to make that happen?

Thanks,
Chris

What motherboard?

Those fans are not PWM as far as I know (they don't have to be but it helps).

Anyways you def want the pump to run off of CPU temp so you would connect it directly to the primary PWM CPU header. If you have a secondary header you can use a splitter and connect the (2) yate loons to that. Then you have your fan and pump control off the CPU.

In the off chance you bought one of the few motherboards that have the ability to run an external temperature probe you will want to buy an inline temp probe and connect it to the motherboard and run the fans off the water temp.

If you have not bought the fans yet you may want to source some fans that are PWM... they are compatible with 3 and 4 pin fan controllers and 4 pin PWM is the way to go whenever it is available.
