Saw Newegg selling a 15 piece bundle with their 4.4 Vishera, a serious cooling question comes to mind.

The package is fairly nice and $1600 is quite reasonable but they included the H80i into it.

This gets me concerned, in y'all's experience would the H80i stand a chance in hell of keeping a red-lined 9370 cool enough to operate?
I used to hammer the hell out of mine with a Thuban 1090T at 3.6 and my FX-8350 pushes to 44°C peak running SMP8 in forced real-time.
Does anybody have this combo of the 4.4 and an H80i or did you all go with heavier systems?

the h80i is similar to what they bundled with the 8120 and 8150

you should be able to keep it cool at least at "stock" 4.4 and push the limits of 4.8/4.9ghz.
it's definitely not the best cooler for FX but it'll do the job.

It just concerns me because the 4.4 Vishera is a 220W socket chip, not sure if it chews it all (assume it doesn't) but that's a lot of power.

Yes they do run hot, it's no secrete.
The H80 will cool 4.4 to 4.6 depending on ambient "maybe" a bit more with quality P/P fans. (that was only a maybe)

From what I see most everyone that has one seems to be looking to upgrade once they start OCing.
It's a minimal cooling solution for the 8350 in the AIO market.
You could always sell off the H80 and upgrade cooling solution? Just a thought.
