I concede that they could be compared, but is it the the most logical comparison? Why insist on comparing Note 3 with Nexus 5 when you can compared it to other S800 Phablets(Z Ultra/ One Max) and Nexus 5 with other S800 Phones(G2/Xperia Z1).

If you insist on making that comparison, feel free. Just IMO better comparisons can be made. I am never a fan of comparing two devices that differs significantly in form factor. Even though the two device could have the same hardware or even software in that case, the form factor difference would produce a significant difference in usage model and user preference.

The leaked service manual appears to be a modified Nexus 4 manual. The dimensions, weight and Bluetooth revision (3.0) are all identical to those of the Nexus 4.

If you insist on comparing Phablets with Phones, feel free. Just don't count on everyone to accept your opinion that they are comparable. The size difference is too substantial for me to accept a realistic comparison, not when better comparisons for both phones exist(G2/Xperia Z1).

What "try"? I got something wrong. There was no attempt at anything insidious.

Is it absolutely necessary for you to be condescending simply because you can't agree?

What's the point in comparing two phones that fill different niches or needs? Of course the bigger phone is going to have a bigger screen and a bigger battery. Saying that the larger phone is better for those reasons is utterly pointless.

If the point wants to be made that one has a removable battery or an SD card slot and the other doesn't, fine. Those aren't the bulk of the comparisons being made ITT.

Note 3 has a 3200mHa battery and an amoled screen, the battery life on the Note 3 is off the charts. Not to mention a non removable battery and no SD card slot, also the Note 3 has USB 3.0 and charges much more quickly. For anyone considering an upgrade, i think this phone is a pass, especially when compared to the Note 3. I think just as with the Nexus 4, its a day late and a dollar short. The only pros is has going for it is pure android, google support and the price point. I read on another article that a 16gb version was seen floating around in the pages of the hand book, which means 16 and 32 gigs is what you have to choose from.

Its also less than half the price of the Note 3, take that into account.
