Atx isnt more expensive on intel and susano is a bad heatsink if you think to get low noise and low temps

A system like this would have to be done atx, which makes it moth much more expensive, and much less interesting.

If u do do a gaming pc, use a gigabyte radeon 7950. Under new offers for around $7950, 3 fans, better.

Yes it has many terrible features. It's HUGE, it's incredibly loud when fanned, At list price it costs more than equivalent watercooling systems that work better and are quieter.

The trick here is to run in UNFANNED. As such it is the most powerful fanless cooler that exists, even more than the nofan 95, which is the size of an under inflated soccer ball, and is half the price on sale.

It;s powerful enough to cool an Intel 4770k at mild overclocks, and If I had the cash to make a 1300$ system out of it I could totally make it go i think. Also If i wanted to run the 8350 with no overclock at all It could still be done. But I don't

I mean amd not intel.

No air cooler can keep with good temps an oced and undelidded i7 4770k

And size of motherboard has nothing.to do with noise and when you use a massive heatsink( more than 130 mm width).can block pcie ports and others at the.time block the ram slots

The thing is tall enough not to block ram ports unless you can also use your memory to comb your hair, as for the pcie there's a cut out int he cooler. Standard height cards fit right under it. I take your point with the 4770k though. They charge so dang much for those things yet can;t be bothered to do a decent thermal connection. Perhaps a 1155 machine then. Either way it can be done, I thought I had found a hole to jump through with silent small and cheap. Seems i was betrayed by sucky AMD mATX. The susandoo is really built for mATX. with full atx you don't need the cut out and it could have had more cooler, and it's too long for itx.

Bah. Now i gotta build a 2500k machine and see what happens...
