of course you can over clock a non K cpu. Have you tried pressing F2 / F12 OR DEL to get the bios? you must do it as soon as the mobo screen appears.

I used to have a i5 2500 non k and got it up to 4.5Ghz

you cant change multiplier only the FSB of the chip so you can only achieve a certain speed thats all

I watched the video and entered the BIOS fedrosishere.
I tried the overclock it. But the value can be 34 maximum. And It was 34 already.
I overclocked my old AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.6 to 3.0 in my old PC.

As soulwrath said. you can only change the FSB not the multiplier.
However i could also change the multiplier with my 2500... dunno why...

remember when you change the fsb of the chip you change the timings of the nb/ht + ram so you gotta adjust those also

best to take a picture of your bios screen, also you probably have options on, power saving and etc - it will be at stock value when stressed

LoL. that is because 1.5ghz is the current speed of the CPU at idle. if you stress it it will go to the max possible. download prime95 and run a stress test to find your max clock speed.
