I know one problem with frozen load screens and crashes was Punkbuster wasn't updating itself.
so.... Update Punkbuster manually.

Yeah I had to do the PunkBuster thing as it wasn't allowing me to do anything in the beginning.

I downloaded the 331.40 beta, so getting ready to check that out.

Had a question for you guys.

My monitor is the ASUS VG248QE 24-Inch Screen LED-lit (which can do 144Hz)

I have yet to get a program to check my frame rates. What should I use to check what kind of frame rates I am getting in game?

Also in game I am not sure what settings I should use as far as video resolution. I use 1080 but not sure what Hz I should select. I assume that would depend on what frame rates I am getting in game, once I figure that out? Or should I just set it to what my monitor does...144Hz?

So far I just put it at 100Hz and left it there.

Also I am not really sure what vertical sync is and if I should use it. Any suggestions there?

Also, do I need to go into my desktop and change any settings under the nvidia control panel that I can't access as far as settings go inside the Battlefield menus?

Again I posted above a couple posts what my system is, but I am using a gtx780 for my gpu.

Thanks.

Hello,

I have the same monitor and set my in-game option to 1080P 144hz.

You'll want to go into the Nvidia control and be sure that the monitor is set to 144hz, as it is set to 60hz by default.

I don't hit 144 FPS yet, getting 100 FPS average, but I'm sure ill be at 144FPS once the game has been optimized and I've adjusted the game on my end.

Personally, I would leave Vsync off as it introduces lag and you won't get ant screen tearing due to the high refresh rate.

To veiw FPS in game, hit the ~ key next to the 1 key. This will bring up the console. Type PERFOVERLAY.DRAWFPS 1 and press enter.

Oh, and be sure to select the option to allow your monitor to operate at its highest refresh rate in the Nvidia 3D program settings. Also, you'll want to select MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE in the Nvidia options. Select it only for the program, and not as a blanket option. There is no need to waste that much power when you're simply browsing the net.

Good luck, and add me on BF4: RexKobra.

Thanks. I seem to be getting 70-90 frames for the Domination game mode. Thought it would have been closer to 100, but I am not too privy to all of this.

Edit- Conquest large seemed to be a little bit better I think. More like 80-100 frames I think.
