I suspect it's going to be bad. There is a tradition lately to make good movies out of fantasy (Harry Potter, Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, even tv like Game of Thrones), but they also seem to rely on mountains of money. And this has a problem, its popularity is diminishing and even those that played it in the past are disgusted by it since most of them feel like they had an addiction problem, hence they will probably not find the money to be something more than a glorified TV monster movie, with their only last chance to have an incredible artistic direction and writing, but to be honest, I never considered Warcraft that great in literature, deep and complex yes, better than most other trash yes, but it doesn't look having the focus of a real writer and in all frankness the past few years it added another problem, it has added tons of arches to its initial story and has made it a hard to follow mess, probably because people were bored of seeing only dwarfs in the game or something.
