Honestly, I don't think I know enough to advice your purchase. Since I own a much much inferior board.

Next up would be a GA 990FXA UD3 (again, one I said to watch out albeit a "popular board) and then next up from that would be an Asus Sabertooth 990FX 2.0. And these are a bit out of the price range.

It's a decent and smart upgrade of course. And I'm sure it'll hold the 8320 under decent clocks. Heard nothing bad about the board either. But since you went with a 970 chipset, that will eliminate the possibility of Crossfiring GPUs down the line. (as far as I know)

We need an AMD motherboard expert in here, stat.

lol i just looked at what i bought and it was actually the UD3, not UD3P though... whatever the differences are.

SO im good now. I think ill be happy with everything.
