Hi@all !!

I looking for the right Clockgenator for my Acer Aspire 5742G.
i want to set the FSB lower to save Akku power when i travel with the train.
For surving in the internet i donĀ“t need 2,4 Ghz on the CPU.
What programs and tools there are to adjust and find out what clock generator is installed on the laptop ?
Thx for the help !

The only way to find out which clock generator you have is to read the identification numbers printed on the chip itself.

What I usually do is to just try them all until I find one that works.
