Low budget upgrade - Go from single to dual 570 GTX's?

Hey all! I've got around $120 to upgrade, and happened to find my local microcenter has 570 GTX's for $120.
I already have a 570 GTX meaning I could go SLI for $120.
Would you say that is the best boost I could get, for gaming, for around my price point? I looked at upgrading my CPU but seems that even newer FX processors won't give me a very good boost as they are pretty on par with my Phenom 975.

Before someone says "For just another $120 you can get a 760!", realize that's double what I'm wanting to pay...

I guess what I'm trying to say is, does going from a single 570 to SLI sound like a decent idea, especially for a "low" price of $120? Can you find anything else that will increase FPS dramatically for a similar price that doesn't involve selling my current 570?

Why are you opposed to selling your current card?

Don't like waiting for it to sell, waiting for payment, then being "videocard-less" for 2 weeks while Paypal approves.

Odd, whenever I sell something on here I have the funds instantly, if you won't sell your card then getting another 570 will be your best bet

I keep thinking grabbing another 570 for myself would be good but the issue I come back to is 1.25GB of memory. Many games coming up are probably going to be nearing the 2GB VRAM on newer cards.

So unless you have 2.5GB 570 and buying another 2.5GB I think your shooting yourself in the foot in the long run.

In other news I had a AMD Thuban 960T x4 @ 3.9GHz and moved to my 4670k/mobo not long ago. The few games I've played so far have played smoother with the same GTX570. Kinda breathed new life into my 570 by making the swap. My 4670k is stock 3.4/3.8 turbo.
