Hello all. I have all but finished my pc build. I am just missing a video card. After about 6 years It was time to rebuild. Pc looks like this.
cpu- i5 4670k
mobo- msi z87 g45.
ram. 8gig 2x4 gig.

currently using a 23 inch monitor 60hz hmdi 1080p res.

I will be gaming and im looking for a card that will play at max on current and next gen games. What are your thoughts?
My budget is $730.00 as I was waiting for the amd r9 290x pre rrelease from newegg but that never happened.

you got just over a week to see what the 290X will bring to the table and if nvidia will drop prices. i hate telling people to wait but some patience may pay off. . .

I figured as much, my parts wont arrive until the end of the week and im in no rush atm. If I was I would have just gotten the gtx 780 and been done with it. If the r9 290x is priced at $599. Non pre release id probably go for it.

wait for oct 15th and take your pick between R9 290X and GTX 780. btw you might want to watch newegg on Monday oct 7th for opening of pre-orders for R9 290X BF4 edition.
