Cooler Master Seidon 240M Shutting off Help

Thread Starter
I have a Cooler Master Seidon 240M installed in my rig. Everytime the CPU temps drop below 18C the fans on the Radiator go off and sets off the fan fail alarms on the motherboard. The Pump is connected to CPU Header and the Radiator fans are connected to the CPU_OPT Header.

Now, the Pump still runs at 1452RPM even when the CPU is below 18C, however the fans idle down to 344RPM at 19C and go off after 18C. Should I just disable the motherboard alarms? I really don't want to do this as then I wont have a proper warning in case the fans actually do stop working. Please do let me know if there is any solution for this.

And FYI, the fans do come up to 2250RPM+ when the CPU gets hot but the pumps always stay at 14xxRPM. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Me personally I would disable the fan alarm and if you can set an alarm to go off or shut down the computer if/when your temps get to high in case a fan does fail, and or an alarm to go off if your pump fails. I have seen/heard of pumps failing more than fans. In fact I don't think I have ever seen a fan just stop. Just my opinion though....

Thanks for the input. I've been doing some reading around. And found the pump is supposed to run at full all the time. So I guess my setup is OK. Turned off the alarms for fan fail and enabled the alarms for heat at 80C.
