Would love some basic over clock settings for ram and CPU , I a nurse and not a pc tech!

I'll start with the assumption that you have never overclocked a computer before. You have a lot of reading ahead of you.

Here is a video that may help
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MckeAmnDeTk

This is a good jumping off point. You should do more research on overclocking. Google overclocking for beginners and read some articles. Also, google for 8320 overclock settings. Find some people with a similar setup and see what numbers (multiplier, voltage etc) they have had luck with. You can start below their numbers and work your way up from there. Dont get discouraged if the numbers they use dont work for you. Overclocking is tricky. Someone could have the exact same setup as you, but different settings for an overclock. Getting it stable is the most important thing, and that comes with hours of testing.

Make sure you pay close attention to temperatures on the cpu AND the motherboard when overclocking. Your CPU might not break under the pressure, but thats not the only thing that gets hot. I like using a thermal gun to spot check areas on my mobo while I'm overclocking.

Also, look for your motherboard here; http://www.overclock.net/t/946407/amd-motherboards-vrm-info-database/0_20

dixson01974 linked a nice article here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1433280/overclocking-fx-8320-for-beginner/0_20#post_20971325

This all looks good except for the bolded parts.

If you are going to play BF4 you will probably want a better graphics card than that. From everything I've heard a 2GB card will not be enough. You may want to get a 7950. Here is a good one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202026 It is only $50 more than the Asus 7850 2GB yet it has 3GB VRAM and almost 800 more shaders than the 7850. Alternatively you can wait a month until the new r9 280X comes out and get that. It's basically a rebadged 7970 with more overclocking headroom.

The other problem is your motherboard. I'm not sure what the power phase design of it is. You might be better off getting a Sabertooth or Crosshair V if you plan on overclocking the FX-8320 heavily. Lower end boards can't handle the power draw of a fully loaded FX-8xxx, especially when overclocked. You chose a good brand in ASUS, but again it may be best to pay just a little more for the Sabertooth (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131877) to ensure good performance and overclocking.

Your list also lacks cooling. How do you plan to cool the CPU? You can't get very far at all overclocking these chips on the stock heatsink. You need to invest in a tower air cooler and make sure it will fit in your case.

Hope they got a 7950 when I recommended it. It was about $300 then and now it's $450. =/

Screw mining.

no kidding I remember when I was shopping for a gpu in NOV. Newegg had a his 7950 boost for $199. Would have been nice to be unloading that thing now.

Yep I remember the 7950s being about $200 a few months ago.

Too bad we didn't jump on it then.

i've got the 8320 with a M5A97 rev 2.0 it's got the best stability on 4.0Ghz in my opinion. CCC oc'd it to 4.3 sometimes 4.4 Ghz, but i find if i set the HT and NB to 2000Mhz, and keep it at 200 bus x 20 multiplier; it'll give me superior performance. in regards to the ram, just set it to its advertised speeds (mine is 1333) (and not on auto). asuming your CCC is still on for gpu overdrive, go to cpu power and move the sliders all the way to the highest 3500Mhz.
i've got a R9 280X and this thing is a MONSTER with the 8320. I'm able to play bf4 ultra and 4x at about 70-80 frames with ease!
