Check that your backplate is at the correct orientation. I checked mine last night and saw that it has a notch in for the screws on the back of the motherboard that I did not align correctly and as such my temps were on the high side.

You can see in this pic that it has a notch that has to be at the top thus clearing the screws in the Intel backplate
