albeit im not a fan of the light blue pcbs either on sapphires cards(as I have one myself). Sapphire in general is a pretty consistent brand(albeit its RMA/Warranty period can be better) up to the point that its pretty much now AMD's chosen manufacturer to work with business(the most profit) as well as I think they had a hand in the designs of the reference upcoming gen cards.

Above video talks about Why Sapphire got picked as channel partner for Workstation graphics.

http://www.amd.com/us/press-releases/Pages/amd-selects-sapphire-2013oct01.aspx

Sapphire is probably stronger than PNY/Leadtek/ELSA/Ryoyo on the Nvidia Quadro side... they have a global presence and already distribute Firepro GPUs in Asia

TUL Corporation is massively diluted among its 3 divisions: Powercolor, VTX3D (launched 2009), and Club3D (founded 1997,renamed 2005)

Hightech Information Systems (HIS) is not as strong a brand as Sapphire.

Diamond Multimedia has basically declined to the point of irrelevance but they have a 5 year limited warranty. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
All Diamond Multimedia Graphics Cards purchased ON or AFTER May 1st, 2011 and registered within 30 days from the original date of purchase will have a FIVE (5) YEAR Limited Warranty. ALL Diamond MULTIMEDIA GRAPHICS CARDS NOT REGISTERERED WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE WILL ONLY QUALIFY FOR THE ORIGINAL ONE YEAR WARRANTY. Previous Diamond Multimedia Graphics Cards purchased AFTER June 1st, 2009 and BEFORE May 1st, 2011 and registered within the first 30 days of purchase will still have a TWO (2) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY.

They're doing something right....
http://www.techpowerup.com/182893/palit-and-pc-partner-beat-asus-in-graphics-card-market-share.html Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
According to the latest global graphics card market share seen by Taiwanese tech industry observer DigiTimes, Palit Microsystems and PC Partner have each surpassed ASUSTek. The two relegated ASUS to the position of third biggest graphics card vendor by volume. ASUS is a vendor-neutral graphics card vendor, selling both NVIDIA GeForce and AMD Radeon graphics cards; while Palit beat it with a predominantly GeForce-based product stack. Although Palit Microsystems is vendor-neutral on paper, it virtually stopped making AMD Radeon-based products.

Palit Microsystems runs two major brands, Palit, and Gainward, which target different global markets, and are seldom found in the same market. PC Partner, on the other hand, runs Sapphire, which focuses on AMD Radeon products, and ZOTAC, focusing on NVIDIA GeForce. Both Palit Microsystems and PC Partners also contract-manufacture graphics cards for other companies. With the surge of Palit Microsystems and PC Partner, ASUSTek is pushed down to the third place in global market-share, followed by MSI and GIGABYTE.

So the 270X Dual-X, 280X Dual-X and 280X Vapor-X just hit the stores here in Estonia...biggrin.gif And I'm exploding with excitement! The 280X VapX is 299 euros. A better price than I expected, giving that a 7970 VapX is 100 euros and 4 cents more. This is great news if you ask me.
