Alright, I need some advice from my fellow OCNers. I left my computer on last night to fold, I started Guild Wars 2 and noticed artifcating immediately. I quit the game, restarted the computer and loaded Guild Wars 2 up again and the problem was fixed. I came back today after letting my computer fold some more and was only able to turn on one monitor, the other remained black. The monitor that was on was flickering from black to the screen image rapidly. I'm thinking of RMA'ing and wondering if I should go with the Gigabyte 280X.

Edit: temps seem to sit around 50-70C while under load and 39C during idle. I'm also running the beta 7 drivers.

I too get major artifacting in GW2, I think it's a driver issue because my OC is completely stable running Kombustor and other games but right when I start up GW2 there's artifacts like crazy. I'm on the ASUS DC2T @ 1200mhz

EDIT: Nevermind, updated to beta 8 and turned down OC to 1100mhz, no artifacts. Turns out 1200 is stable enough for constant furmark and kombustor but not Guild Wars. I would say try downclocking the card, if you get no artifacts then RMA it because it should be able to run at stock clocks and beyond (to an extent) right out of the box without any issues.

I'm getting artifactingi n GW2.

I'm on BETA 6; I'll see if BETA 8 has the same problem, then contact the seller for a return.

I left the comp folding all night and haven't noticed any issues since getting on about 20 minutes ago. I'll monitor everything over the weekend.

What I'm saying is, I have to max the voltage in MSI AB to 1.3v to be able to run those cards at stock clocks.

I'm seriously going to virtually smack the next person who answers someone asking "How do you change the voltage?" and the reply is "I did the unofficial method".

Like someone else said FFS just explain hows its done instead of saying "Unofficial way".

Well, unofficially...biggrin.gif

Just kidding, although I would also like to know as my R9 280x is on its way!

EDIT: Hey wait you're the same Hellfire who bought the RAM from me on Carbonite? wave2.gif
