With 2 in crossfire max settings I can maintain 60fps with V-sync (not that hard tho tbh thumb.gif)...without V-sync I get 150+ (200 if I look at the sky biggrin.gif) most of the time, drops to like 115ish when **** gets crazy on a map with lots of action.

I only ran a single card once in BF4, I can't remember exact FPS but it maxed around 90, dipping to high 60's/70.

The HIS would have been my second choice after the ASUS 280X DirectCU II.

Don't get gigabyte. You will have a performance ceiling due to voltage lock from day one.

Also, all the HIS hate I have seen around forums is misplaced. They make excellent cards.

The Gigabytes aren't too bad in terms of overlcocking, even voltage locked I can get my core to 1200mhz, memory to 6280. I can't push the core or memory any higher without crashes but I can drop the core to 1180 and push the memory to 6500...both options bench fine but that is the limit...I would love to unlock the voltage redface.gif

But temps are definitely an issue even with the 3 fan cooler...1200 core was not possible with the stock cooler but when I replaced the cooler with the GPUMOD water cooling it dropped my load temps by 40c+ and 1200 core passed several runs of 3Dmark.

anyone could tell what is better between asus dIrectII standard ( non TOP version ) and the vaporX ?? I have seen a review in which was reported that vapo-x keep decent temperature even under overclock ( about 1200 mhz and 79 °C ) while the asus manage to arrive at 1200 but with 89°C. It was also reported that the asus was way more silent than the vapor-x indeed the sapphire has the fan at 70% while the asus only reach 49%. Actually I would also know which card has the better power phase!!

Do you or anybody else know, can you install Afterburner alongside Asus GPU Tweak just for the osd? You'd leave the AB tweak settings alone of course. But I wonder if that would confuse the system, with one tweak app reporting different settings than the other? Or would whichever app that loads last override the first?

Really wish we could get a standalone osd app that reports temps etc. I know AB uses rivatuner for the osd, can you just install that? I don't want to experiment and blow up my card lol, some guy posted somewhere that he used 3 tweak apps and the voltage increases became cumulative, though I'm not quite sure how that would be possible.
Yeah I wouldn't mind using the GPU Tweak but I would like to have an OSD. I know afterburner needs the rivatuner statistics server (thats what actually does the OSD), but I don't think GPU Tweak would provide RTSS with the needed info, since you configure whats displayed inside afterburner and not RTSS.

Also running both at the same time smells like asking for troubles...

Why when my computer going in sleep mode my voltage on 280x after sleep, voltage is stock...?
I overclocked my card with Sapphire Trixx i set voltage 1.275.. after sleep pc voltage is 1.200.
Any idea how to change this option ?
