Unless a 7970/7950 is more so worth the dollar to perforamnce value, 7970 is $319, 280x $375 7950 $269.

What would ya reccomend people for final fantasy a realm reborn
I recommend one of these 280X if you buy a 280X:

www.amazon.com/ASUS-MATRIX-R9280X-P-3GD5-Graphics-Cards/dp/B00FW47Y5I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1384475267&sr=8-1&keywords=r9+280x+matrix
www.amazon.com/Sapphire-DL-DVI-I-SL-DVI-D-PCI-Express-11221-01-40G/dp/B00FLMKR78/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1384475161&sr=8-6&keywords=r9+280x+toxic

Use the spare money you will have (by not buying the HIS r9 280X) on some decent case fans to help you cool the cards smile.gif

It doesn't seem like a bad card based on what i read from reviews.

Vapor x also takes 2 8 pins. Matrix and Toxic probably do also.

I don't think the HIS is a bad card at all from the reviews I've read, at least the turbo model isn't. Cools well, quieter than the vapor x. I might have considered the HIS turbo except it's really long, like 300mm.

Asus TOP and Vapor X use Hynix memory though, and afaik the other cards use elpida. I've always heard Hynix OCs better than elpida for whatever that's worth.

I'm pretty sure the gigabyte uses elpida, and I think msi does also. To flip it, I know for sure the vapor x and dc2t use Hynix, I've seen the pix.
