Threaten the GPU.

"If you don't go higher then no thermal paste or air cooling for you young man!"

And watch as the clockspeed reaches a titan level lol.

If there is a game that you play often, and your not reaching fps that you want (60 /96 fps) at maxium settings, then yes you should definetly overclock.
Make sure you got plenty cooling though.
Also make sure that you have profiles that fits games you want to play. For example if you can get 60 FPS and maxium settings for Skyrim on 1000 MHz core and 1550 memory, then switch to that profile.
What would be the point be for me to play Skyrim at highest frequency possible (e.g overclock of 1250core/1700 memory), when 1000 core and 1500 memory could get me the same performance smile.gif

Like i said, if you don't need more performance for the games you play there is no point in overclocking.
Something you can do to tackle the temperature is buy better thermal paste (if you haven't already), and apply it to the gpus.

Is this about right, this is at stock 1180/1400.

It must be the new Beta9.2 driver or something but I still don't understand how the Graphics and physics are higher but the combined and overall are lower. It could be how the CPU is overclocked I don't know but I am very happy with the graphics score and the gameplay at 1200/1400 is freakin' awesome, no lag, no stutter, no flickering and everything jumps out at you. I can see things I would never have been able to see before. I played BF3 at well over 100 FPS average, low was about 85 FPS.

Maybe a bit of help here. I have everything synced-up, or at least I think so but my cards are not running the same clocks. 1 is at 1218/1399 and 1 is at 1100/1250 or stock. the 7870 is at stock. What am I missing?
Edit: Fixed, I just put the 7870 on top and now I can set both cards.
