Overclock that 1090t, Minimum 4.1GHZ if possible, but the higher the better

For the fun of it, pulled out my 770gtx , put the 5850 back in and voila, after installing the drivers game runs at 60fps no issues. Start up windows sounds also do not work with the 770 installed but do when i put the 5850 in. I think its definatly time to invest in a new ati card:)

Just a little question to you guys: My VDDC Voltage is just 1.094 (GPU-Z) under heavy load - anybody here who have the same output? Looks a little bit low for me, if i compare it to other OC 280X Cards.

Thanks, Marc

I get up to 80mv vdroop on my DC2T card. So whatever gigabyte locked your card's voltage to plus vdroop = your VDDC.

QUESTION 270x users

is the voltage locked in your cards right now??

I have been reading some reviews...with a small OC the card can keep with a 760..like 5% less only

But those reviews mention that the voltage is locked waiting for an update to "unlock" it...

it is now ??

I question this because with an unlocked voltage the 270x maybe can equal or pass a 760....

at 50$ less I would consider more the 270x then.

Mine is locked, but it's clocked so high already I am running close to stock. Mine is locked and reads about 1.260v at full load. It has hit almost 140w power draw at that. My 7870 at 1.30v draws about 130w at full load.

Im looking to buy the HIS R9 280X http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=193_1559&products_id=25341

It says it needs a minimum 750w psu which I have, will that be big enough to power the psu or do i have to buy a bigger psu, i see asus and gigabyte need much lower psus?

http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15_1470&products_id=18459

Thats my psu

You should be fine, 750W is overkill for a single GPU
